Duties
* Assisting customers at the pharmacy counter with their enquiries and medication needs
* Dispensing over-the-counter medicines and health products accurately
* Supporting pharmacy technicians with medication organisation and stock management
* Providing information on medication usage, storage, and safety to patients
* Ensuring the pharmacy area remains clean, organised, and welcoming
* Handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently
* Supporting patient care activities under supervision, including basic medication administration guidance where appropriate
Experience
* Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
* Knowledge of medication administration and patient care practices is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to assist diverse patient needs
