Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and personable Lettings Negotiator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse residential portfolio, liaising with landlords and tenants, and ensuring the efficient letting of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants and guide them through the process
* Negotiate tenancy terms between landlords and tenants to reach mutually beneficial agreements
* Build and maintain strong relationships with both landlords and tenants, acting as a key point of contact
* Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
* Handle tenancy renewals, terminations, and ensure compliance with current rental regulations
* Provide administrative support, including drafting tenancy agreements, maintaining accurate records, and processing applications
* Keep up-to-date with market trends and local regulations to advise clients effectively
Key Skills & Requirements:
* Previous experience in a lettings or estate agency role is essential
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
* A customer-focused approach, with a passion for delivering great service.
* Knowledge of residential lettings regulations and compliance
* A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Although the successful candidate will be expected to work core business hours Monday -Friday; there will be some occasions where they will need to be available in the evening or on Saturday.
