SharePoint Consultant (Development-Focused | MidSenior) Location: Remote (UK-based) Salary: £50,000 £60,000 (DOE) Employment Type: Permanent Remote Working | Flexible Hours | Consultancy Development | Pension Were looking for a midsenior SharePoint Consultant who enjoys working at the intersection of consultancy and development, someone equally comfortable advising clients and building high-quality, custom Microsoft 365 solutions. This role blends hands-on development, solution design, and client engagement. Youll help organisations get the most from SharePoint and the wider Microsoft 365 platform by designing scalable architectures, building custom solutions, and guiding best practice adoption. The Role Act as a trusted consultant to clients, translating business needs into technical solutions Lead the design and delivery of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions Build custom solutions using SPFx (TypeScript / JavaScript) alongside advanced SharePoint configuration Design and deliver Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, JSON formatting) Create and maintain information architecture, hub sites, metadata models, and permissions frameworks Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft services using Microsoft Graph API Deliver SharePoint migrations using ShareGate, SPMT, or AvePoint Run client workshops, requirements sessions, and technical walk-throughs Advise on governance, security, compliance, and adoption Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and user guidance Collaborate with delivery teams to scope, estimate, and deliver consultancy projects Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience delivering SharePoint Online solutions in a consultancy or multi-client environment Strong hands-on experience with SPFx development (TypeScript / JavaScript) Solid Power Platform experience (Power Automate & Power Apps) Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and best practices Confident client-facing skills, including workshops and solution presentations Good working knowledge of the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID) Desirable Microsoft Graph API and PnP PowerShell CI/CD or Azure DevOps experience Nintex or other workflow platforms Intranet or digital workplace delivery experience Microsoft certifications (MS-600, MS-700, PL-100 / PL-200) About You Comfortable balancing consultancy responsibilities with hands-on development Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders Organised and confident managing multiple workstreams Solutions-driven, pragmatic, and quality-focused Actively keeps skills current across SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Whats in It for You A genuinely blended consultantdeveloper role Variety of clients and industries End-to-end project ownership and influence over technical direction Support for certifications and professional development Fully remote working with flexibility This role is ideal for an experienced SharePoint professional who enjoys consulting with clients but still wants to stay hands-on in development.
