Job Summary Supports the daily operations of the Extra Care service, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care. Assists the Service Manager in staff supervision, compliance with CQC and company standards, and maintaining tenant wellbeing and service performance. Key Responsibilities • Support day-to-day service delivery and act as lead in the Manager’s absence. • Supervise, motivate, and develop staff to maintain quality and rota coverage. • Monitor compliance through audits, spot checks, and adherence to CQC standards. • Ensure accurate care documentation, risk assessments, and reports. • Promote safeguarding, independence, and tenant engagement. • Liaise with external professionals and housing partners for coordinated support. Experience • 2 years in a supervisory/senior role within Extra Care, Supported Living, or Domiciliary Care. • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and risk management. • Experience with care planning, staff performance, and rota management. • Proficient in digital care systems and Microsoft Office. Education • Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent). • Willingness to complete Level 4/5 Leadership Diploma. Skills & Attributes • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. • Ability to manage staff, priorities, and performance in a busy environment. • Sound knowledge of CQC standards, health & safety, and digital care tools. • Calm, decisive, and solution-focused under pressure. • Full driving licence preferred
