Job Description
3. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Prepare detailed audit reports, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations.
6. Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit frameworks and processes.
7. Support the team in risk assessments and control evaluations.
8. Monitor adherence to policies and procedures within the organisation.
9. Provide guidance and training to junior team members as required.
10. Stay updated on changes within the energy & natural resources industry and adapt audit practices accordingly.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Internal Audit Assistant Manager should have:
11. Professional qualifications in accounting or auditing, such as ACA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent.
12. Experience in internal auditing within an industry or practice environment
13. Experience carrying out the full end-to-end internal audit process
14. Prior experience working alongside senior stakeholders
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
16. Proficiency in audit tools and software is advantageous.
