Barclays is seeking an accomplished Integrated Financial Crime (IFC) Transaction Monitoring Senior Project Manager to join our team. Within the role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, responsible for multiple financial crime initiatives in the Transaction Monitoring (TM) space.
To be successful, you should have:
* Exposure to Financial controls/management.
* Experience in Change Delivery Management governance.
* Experience in Senior stakeholder management.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Vision.
* Strong analytical skills for quality assurance.
* Experience in Navigator, Reporting, and Dashboards.
* Understanding of the Governance environment of the Banking industry.
* Experience working as a Change delivery PMO.
* Exposure to Internal and external audits on governance controls.
This role is based in Glasgow and London.
Purpose of the role
To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Accountabilities
1. Management of change projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
2. Development and management of project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
3. Effective communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.
4. Management of project teams, resources, and skills required for project delivery.
5. Management of project budgets and creation of progress reports.
6. Risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
7. Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication.
8. Contribution to strategy, requirements, and recommendations for change; planning resources, budgets, and policies.
9. If managing a team, defining roles, planning for future needs, and guiding performance and development.
10. Demonstrating leadership behaviors to foster a thriving environment, including listening, inspiring, aligning, and developing others.
11. Serving as a subject matter expert, guiding technical directions, and mentoring less experienced staff.
12. Advising stakeholders on functional and cross-functional impacts and alignment.
13. Managing and mitigating risks to support governance and control agendas.
14. Demonstrating accountability for risk management and control strengthening.
15. Understanding organizational functions to contribute to business goals.
16. Collaborating across departments to stay aligned with business strategies.
