Location: Unity Building, Bradford, BD1 3DN (with a possible requirement to work across all 3 hubs if needed)
Working Hours: 37 hours, Monday-Friday 9:15am-5:15pm with a requirement to work a late night each Thursday 1-9pm.

Salary: £25,110 - £32,090 per annum

About the Role
New Vision Bradford was launched on 1 April 2023. This is a partnership between Waythrough, the Bridge Project, Project 6 and Creative Strength. Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult substance misuse service for the Bradford District. We provide a safe environment for people to develop life skills and confidence, ultimately enabling them to rebuild their lives and become active, contributing members of the Bradford community.
We are looking to appoint a full-time Recovery Coordinator on a permanent basis, under the New Vision Bradford umbrella, based at Unity.
You will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality substance misuse treatment provision by supporting service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey. You will play a crucial role acting as the care coordinator for an assigned group of service users. There will also be a requirement to work one late night a week.
What You’ll Do
1. Manage an adult caseload of a variety of substance use issues, opiate/non opiate and alcohol.
2. Devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
3. Facilitate and promote individuals’ progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
4. Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
5. Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.
6. Scripting.
7. Late night working 1 day a week to support the evening clinics.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
8. 2 years’ full time experience of working with people with alcohol and/or drug problems and/or people with complex and multiple needs.
9. Experience of managing a caseload.
10. Ability to use your own initiative and be proactive.
11. Having a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
