If so, Sheffield Council are seeking a social worker to support their specialist children's disability service based in Sheffield. The role is offering up to £31 per hour to the successful candidate & provides a flexible hybrid working pattern for staff.
Responsibilities include: ...
-You will be providing support and advice to children and young people with significant learning and physical disabilities aged 0-18 and their families.
-Completing comprehensive and clear assessments. Planning and negotiating packages of support and working in partnership with parents and other professionals and agencies.
-Ensure children and young people have opportunities to access community activities and short breaks to ensure they develop daily living and independence skills to make a successful transition into adulthood.
-Manage looked after children's case work, safeguarding and court work. Dependant on knowledge and skills.
Minimum Requirements:
1. -Court experience preferable but not essential
2. -Must have LAC (Looked after children) experience
3. -Must be able to drive
4. -SWE Registration
5. -2 year post qualifying experience within UK
6. -Eligibility to work in the UK
