Occupational Therapist
Location
Hillingdon Granges – primarily at Colne Grange. May support other sites.
Salary
Up to £53,200 FTE DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (£2,500 after one month, £2,500 after final probation).
Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday 08:30‑16:30. Permanent (term‑time only or flexible discussion based on circumstances).
Essential Criteria
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Recognised Occupational Therapy (OT) degree.
* Valid HCPC registration.
* Registered member of the RCOT.
* Relevant experience delivering OT services in similar settings.
* Experience working with neuro‑divergent, learning difficulty, or socio‑emotional and mental health (SEMH) populations.
* Sound knowledge of OT theory and practical application for supporting independence.
* Experience of multi‑professional teamwork.
* Ability to work independently, flexibly, and confidently.
* Clear and concise report writing skills.
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed is preferable).
Responsibilities
Deliver bespoke OT assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs.
Work within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working guidelines, respecting professional and governing body requirements.
Hold an OT caseload, supported by a clinical supervisor and site lead.
Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
Participate in research projects, special interest groups, and professional forums.
Produce clear and concise clinical reports.
