Maths Tutor (Alternative Provision Specialist)
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Maths Tutor to provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils outside of mainstream education. Students may present with a range of complex SEMH and behavioural needs, including ADHD, ASD, and trauma-related challenges.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with strong curriculum knowledge
* Substantial experience teaching/tutoring in alternative provisions
* Strong understanding of behaviour strategies and adaptive teaching methods
* Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only) on the Update Service – essential
* Ability to engage, motivate and build positive relationships with pupils who may face barriers to learning
Pay & Hours: £25 – £35 per hour (depending on experience)
Part-time hours, dependent on referral
Start Date: September/October

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
