Available Technician Levels & Salaries
* Service & Maintenance Technician: £28,600 - £36,950
* Service & Diagnostic Technician: £30,650 - £39,410
* Senior Technician: £32,700 - £41,870
* Master Technician: £36,800 - £46,790
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service through high‑quality vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and repair work.
* Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
* Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults efficiently
* Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
* Ensuring first‑time fixes wherever possible
* Maintaining accurate workshop records
* Working collaboratively within a busy workshop environment
* Delivering high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
* MOT Licence preferred but not essential
* Own tools
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
