Are you an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic and supportive environment? Join our dedicated team at the Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services to NHS patients.
About the Role
As a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will:
* Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
* Ensure compliance with British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) guidelines and best practices.
* Collect and submit Global Rating Scale (GRS) and patient outcome data.
* Participate in clinical governance, audit, and service development.
* Provide expert clinical opinions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Support the validation of discharge information and pathology results.
* Contribute to the analysis of incidents and complaints to maintain high standards of patient care.

Your Skills & Experience
* GMC Specialist Register entry for General Surgery.
* Significant experience in upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions.
* Ability to offer expert clinical opinions and lead a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to continuing professional development and clinical governance.
* Experience in clinical audit and applying findings to practice.
* IT literacy and experience with electronic health records.
* Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to high-quality patient care.
