Join a leading FM provider delivering excellence across national retail contracts.We are seeking an experiencedmercial Gas Engineer to work in a mobile role covering multiple sites across the BH postcode area. You’ll handle planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and small work on gas systems and HVAC plants withinmercial and retail environments.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing position where you’ll ensure gas safetypliance and deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and resolve boiler lockouts and resets
2. Repair faults on warm air units and radiant tube heaters
3. Fix leaks in gas pipework or isolation valves
4. Resolve ignition failures and pilot light issues
5. Investigate pressure loss or circulation problems
6. Address gas interlock faults in kitchens or plant rooms
7. Replace faulty thermostats, sensors, and actuators
8. Attend emergency call-outs for heating/hot water failures
What you’ll need
9. Validmercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A, etc.)
10. Strong knowledge of heating systems, boilers, and associated plant
11. Experience in retail,mercial, or multi-site maintenance
12. Ability to work independently on planned and reactive tasks
13. Willingness to join an on-call rota (enhanced pay)
14. Full UK driving licence
