Job Summary
The Production Operative is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of high-quality bedding and textile products. This includes operating machinery, assembling products, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient workflow within the production area.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
* Assemble homeware products to required specifications
* Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues
* Pack finished goods accurately for dispatch
* Follow production schedules to meet daily targets
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
* Carry out routine checks on machinery and report faults
* Follow company health & safety procedures and guidelines at all times
* Assist with stock handling and materials movement within the production area
* Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to follow instructions and work to standard operating procedures
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for long periods
* Capable of lifting and handling materials where required
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Working Hours
* Monday - Thursday 2pm-11pm & Friday 1pm-4pm
* Overtime may be required during peak production periods

* £12.71 per hour
