Role Description
Provides reliable ground and basic maintenance support by ensuring on-time aircraft servicing and assisting engineers with inspections, fault diagnosis, and minor repairs under supervision. Maintains clear communication by reporting technical issues and supporting the effective management of tools, equipment, and station activities.
Responsibilities
* On time arrival and departure service.
* Performs non-technical handling activities and tasks for example servicing engines with oil/refuelling of aircraft, inflating tyres, general assistance, headset departures.
* Assists the Ground/Duty Engineer to carry out repairs on aircraft (in case of technical activities under supervision of a Ground Engineer/Duty Engineer), complaint with the technical requirements and customer demands.
* Reports technical irregularities and progress of work performed to Ground/Duty Engineer or Maintenance Manager.
* Assists the Ground/Duty Engineer with analysing defects and complaints (trouble shooting) and aircraft inspections.
* Assists with status of equipment, tools, stores and overall station activities.
Knowledge & Skills
* Experience with Basic Aircraft Technical Training.
* Good Communication Skills.
* Knowledge of apron/aircraft safety rules and regulations.
* Knowledge of technical requirements and customer demands.
* Knowledge of non-technical handling procedures and instructions.
