Murphy is recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to work with the Energy Team on the National Grid, Yorkshire Green Project.

A day in the life of a Murphy Assistant Project Manager:
1. Accountable for project delivery, ensuring safety, timeliness, contractual compliance, and budget adherence alongside the Project Manager.
2. Ensure project requirements are identified and met.
3. Identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
4. Plan, review, and deliver contract programmes.
5. Manage Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and Section Managers.
6. Maintain effective client relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide project updates.
7. Create, implement, and review risk assessments.
8. Ensure operating plans include sufficient resources and materials.
9. Resolve operational issues, escalating critical matters to the Project Director as needed.

* Experience in an Assistant Project Manager or similar role.
* Experience managing complex, multi-discipline enhancement projects within programme and cost controls.
* Stakeholder management skills, capable of developing close working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
