Role:Response Multi Skilled Operative Wet Trades
Contract:Permanent - full time
Location:Barnstaple and surrounding areas
Hours:37 hours
Salary:Up to £31,464.72 per annum depending on experience - plus benefits
The Role
The purpose of this role is to be one of several Multi Skilled Operatives working on the response team carrying out general maintenance to customers homes, including responsive repairs and minor works in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
* To carry out a wide range of high-quality repairs to domestic dwellings, including diagnosing and rectifying faults, in accordance with the Companys repair obligations, to the customers satisfaction as far as possible.
* To plan and manage work effectively.
o To accurately account for all materials used in carrying out works orders, and to maintain an adequate van stock to enable all normal minor repairs to be affected on one visit.
* Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and key stakeholders.
About You
* You will be looking to work for a supportive company delivering valuable services to the local community.
* You will have demonstrable experience in wet trades, drylining and masonry.
* You will have additional experience of basic carpentry, wall tiling, patch plastering and painting and decorating.
* You will have working knowledge of health & safety principles.
* You will work well in a team environment, be comfortable working independently and be supportive of others.
* Hold a full drivers licence.
