Senior Practitioner – Mental Health – Integrated Mental Health Service

We are looking for an experienced social worker to join our Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS) – a Section 75 partnership with East London Foundation Trust – to provide expert guidance on complex cases, drive quality assurance and support staff development.
Core Responsibilities
* Provide expert professional advice and support to social workers on the most complex cases.
* Lead quality assurance within the team, ensuring safe, legally compliant, strengths‑based practice.
* Take a lead role in safeguarding adults, including chairing and coordinating enquiries where appropriate.
* Mentor staff and support the Team Manager with supervision and professional development.
* Contribute to embedding trauma‑informed and anti‑racist practice across the service.
* Collaborate with ELFT and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
* Strong knowledge of key legislation, particularly Care Act, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
* Experience managing complex casework, safeguarding enquiries and risk.
* Ability to mentor and support less experienced colleagues, promoting reflective practice.
* Excellent communication skills and commitment to collaborative, inclusive working.
* Enhanced DBS required.
