This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to reduce travel and enjoy the stability of maintaining and repairing both passenger lifts and escalators within a high-end environment. You’ll support demanding clients on-site, ensuring all vertical transportation systems are maintained to the highest technical and safety standards. Commutable from: Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton, Hyde Key Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer (dual-trained) * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and minor repairs on passenger lifts and escalators. * Plan and manage your own daily workload to meet requirements. * Deliver an exceptional level of professionalism when working with premium clients. * Identify and report system defects, performance improvements, and safety concerns. * Complete maintenance documentation in line with service schedules. * Participate in the lift and escalator call-out rota, responding to urgent breakdowns. Requirements of a Lift Engineer (dual-trained) * Currently working as a Lift and/or Escalator Service Engineer, or as a multi-skilled Lift Engineer looking to broaden expertise. * Minimum 3 years’ experience within the lift and/or escalator industry. * Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in both Passenger Lift Engineering and Escalator Engineering (or equivalent). * Clean UK Driving Licence essential. * Confident, organised, and professional when engaging directly with high-end clients.
