About the Role:
On behalf of our client based in Motherwell, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the optimisation of production processes within a leading industrial facility. In this role, you will play a key part in planning and designing efficient manufacturing systems, ensuring that productivity, quality, and safety targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Analyse equipment layout, workflow, and assembly methods to streamline operations.
Identify and specify parts, tools, and equipment required to meet manufacturing objectives in line with product specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and continuous improvement activities.
Follow established procedures and guidelines while contributing to process improvements.
Report directly to a supervisor or manager and work under close supervision.
Candidate Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Good understanding of manufacturing principles, techniques, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
