Overview
Everlast Gyms Plus sites are premium, family-friendly health and fitness clubs. A cleaner must be dedicated and detail-oriented to help us uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our elevated fitness facility.
Responsibilities
* To ensure all areas of the club are always clean, hygienic, and well-presented
* Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the club, including gym areas, studios, changing rooms, poolside, reception, toilets, and communal spaces
* Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
* Empty waste receptacles and manage recycling
* Carry out regular deep cleans by cleaning schedules and health & safety standards
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management
* Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly
* Work independently and as part of a team to maintain cleanliness throughout all operating hours
* Deliver excellent customer service, being friendly and approachable when interacting with members
* Full job role training on site
Qualifications
* Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Willingness to use digital learning to be upskilled in use of cleaning products
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends
