Skills & Experience
To apply as a PCSO you must:
* Be aged 17 at point of application. You must be 18 before you can start.
* Have a full UK manual driving licence, by time of appointment.
* Hold a GCSE A*-C (4-9) or Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in English and Maths. If you do not hold an equivalent level 2 qualification you will be referred to Functional Skills UK and will be required to complete the qualification(s) prior to your End Point Assessment.
* You must have lived in the UK for three continuous years immediately prior to application.
* Have leave to enter or leave to remain and work in the UK for an indefinite period.
* Not have six penalty points or more.
* Not be a member of the British National Party (BNP) or other relevant organisations.
* Not have tattoos which could cause offence.
* Not have served a prison sentence.

* Starting salary of £29,151 plus an unsocial hours allowance of £1,857 per annum.
