HGV Technician (Spilt Days) Needed in Manchester
1. Location: Manchester
2. Working Hours: Alternating shifts – Week 1: 07:00–15:30 | Week 2: 12:30–21:00 | 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:00–12:00 (paid at overtime rate)
3. Salary: Up to £42,700 basic + £61,000 OTE (annual pay rises + profit share)
Our client, a well-established commercial vehicle rental specialist, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities for a HGV Technician:
4. Carry out routine servicing and inspections to manufacturer standards
5. Conduct vehicle testing in a safe and professional manner
6. Diagnose faults and provide detailed reports
7. Undertake repairs on a wide range of HGVs and associated equipment
8. Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For in a HGV Technician:
9. NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in HGV Mechanics (or time-served with 3+ years’ experience)
10. Strong diagnostic and repair skills
11. Experience with cranes, hydraulics, tippers or beaver tails (advantageous)
12. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
13. Full UK driving licence
