Manufacturing EngineerBelfast £40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent BenefitsA leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its growing engineering team at a modern, state-of-the-art facility in Belfast.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking to work within a highly regulated, advanced manufacturing environment where continuous improvement, innovation and career development are actively encouraged.The Role As Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, optimising and supporting manufacturing processes for critical aerospace components. You'll work across a range of specialist processes including assembly, bonding, surface treatments, painting and automated manufacturing technologies.Key responsibilities include:Developing and improving manufacturing methods and processesProviding day-to-day engineering support to production operationsDesigning and specifying tooling, fixtures and manufacturing aidsDriving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing cellsSupporting the introduction of new products and process changesManaging engineering change control activitiesCreating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical instructions and proceduresDefining process flows and supporting manufacturing layout improvementsWorking closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement teamsSupporting customer projects and responding to technical queriesAssisting with operator training and process implementationWhat We're Looking For Essential:HNC/HND (Level 3 or above) in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplinePrevious Manufacturing Engineering experience within an engineering or manufacturing environmentExperience working within aerospace or another highly regulated industryStrong problem-solving abilities and continuous improvement mindsetGood communication and teamwork skillsDesirable:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subjectExperience across multiple manufacturing processesAutomation, robotics programming or robotic cell experienceCAD and ERP system knowledgeContinuous Improvement qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green BeltExperience working directly with customers and suppliersWhat's On Offer?25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidaysEnhanced pension scheme with 7% employer contributionLife assurance at 4x annual salaryFree onsite parkingModern manufacturing facility with advanced technologyOpportunity to work on world-class aerospace programmesGenuine long-term career development opportunitiesThis is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturer and play a key role in supporting the production of high-performance aerospace components in a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering environment.Click apply to discuss or reach out to for a confidential discussion.INDKYSkills:MANUFACTURING PROCESS QUALITY NPI OPERATIONS EFFICIENCY LEANBenefits:Generous BenefitsWHJS1_NI
