Job summary
Are you ready to join a friendly and supportive team? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a partner in our well-established, fully dispensing practice. We are looking for someone who can work full-time. We are flexible and adaptable to your needs and preferences. Don't miss this chance to be part of our amazing practice!
Main duties of the job
We are not immune from the present problems with the NHS. Working in a small rural practice is challenging, but it still offers a deep sense of satisfaction.
Our patch in South East Shropshire is rural, bordered by Bridgnorth, Wenlock Edge, Ludlow, and Cleobury Mortimer. Yet, it remains within easy reach of Shrewsbury and Telford. Please see the video posted on our website.
We are an integral part of our community with very good patient feedback. Reviewing our patient survey results over the last ten years would be illuminating. But more enjoyable would be to visit a local pub or village shop and ask residents what they think of us. There is good walking on Brown Clee Hill with a cafe in the village.
We have an exceptionally vibrant and helpful Patient Participation Group that has supported us for over a decade. Our supportive patients are involved in purchasing the practice buildings for the future. There will be no need to purchase part of the building as a partner.
About us
Our staff are long-serving, friendly, and committed. We dispense to all our 3,900 patients. Besides the two Partners, we employ a long-term half-time salaried GP and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. We have supported our local Meditation Group for the last 12 years. Our Practice runs a vibrant Compassionate Communities Organisation. Working with our local PCN (Primary Care Network), we provide first-access physiotherapy, mental health support, pharmacy services, and social prescribers.
