COMMUNITY CAMHS CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST (DARTFORD)
You will be expected to:
1. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Dartford.
2. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
3. Work directly with young people and their families, and liaise with external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals as appropriate.
4. Participate in the on-call rota; current frequency is 1:14, with a 3% basic salary on-call supplement (Category A).
5. Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member while allowing them to work with their own initiative.
6. Work alongside another full-time CAMHS Consultant, a full-time Senior Trainee, and 0.8 WTE CT LAS.
7. Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
