Responsibilities
* Produce accurate, detailed, and competitive tenders within agreed deadlines.
* Review project drawings, specifications, and information to create full cost breakdowns.
* Estimate materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor packages for projects up to £10m.
* Identify risks, challenges, and value engineering opportunities in tenders.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
* Liaise with internal teams to confirm scope, pricing strategies, and tender assumptions.
* Keep organised records of all tender-related documents and communications.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and internal procedures.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
* Ability to deliver accurate estimates for both refurbishment and new‑build schemes.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
