Health Care Professional – Bishop/Shildon
Our list of essential requirements is a little different from what you may see in other job adverts. At Supportive, we look at things a little differently.
We are seeking Health Care Professionals who share our values. As a not-for-profit charity, we prioritize people in everything we do.
We value the person. We require someone with empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives within our local community.
If you have never performed this role before, don’t worry—we provide full training and ongoing support to help you build confidence and skills. We offer a variety of hours, so we are confident we can find a schedule that suits both your home life and our service users.
You will assist vulnerable individuals in our community, promote their independence, and help them remain in the comfort of their own homes. This involves supporting daily living tasks.
Basic cooking skills are helpful to ensure our service users are well fed, as home-cooked food is nourishing and comforting.
Be someone’s listening ear, their source of laughter, comfort, a tidy housekeeper, a fashion advisor, or a shopping list writer. Be someone’s reason to smile every day.
