Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking to work regular hours with no weekend shifts?
This ambient food manufacturer in Wellingborough is about to undergo significant investment with the introduction of a new line. As part of this small engineering team, your role will focus on delivering machine maintenance, continuous improvement, and proactive maintenance.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure a safe and compliant factory environment while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
2. Maintain the site's electrical infrastructure, recommend improvements, and ensure adherence to electrical regulations.
3. Report and record all work activities on site CMMS to meet KPI targets.
4. Perform reactive and planned maintenance activities.
5. Develop and enhance maintenance systems and procedures.
6. Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance site capabilities and equipment reliability.
7. Participate in site improvements, modifications, and capital investment projects.
8. Manage contractors on site, ensuring work quality and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Experience working in a manufacturing environment as an electrical bias engineer or similar role.
2. Minimum NVQ Level 3 in engineering or equivalent, preferably via apprenticeship.
3. Knowledge of automation systems such as PLC, SCADA, and robots is advantageous.
4. Experience with instrumentation, sensors, gauges, and indicators.
5. Understanding of current electrical safety standards and practices.
6. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when necessary.
Benefits:
* Salary of £45,000 per annum.
* Monday to Friday shifts: 06:00 – 14:05, 13:55 – 22:00, 08:00 – 16:00.
