The Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality physical education lessons to our students. Youll be responsible for fostering teamwork, confidence, and fitness while encouraging students to take part in a wide range of sports and physical activities. You will help students understand the importance of physical health, well-being, and teamwork in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
· Inspire students to take an active role in their physical fitness and overall well-being
· Promote teamwork, resilience, and leadership through sports and group activities
· Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs and competitions
· Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
· Collaborate with other staff to develop cross-curricular initiatives
· Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment for all students
What Were Looking For:
· A qualified PE Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
· Passion for sport and physical education with a strong understanding of the curriculum
· Experience in teaching PE at secondary school level, including GCSE and/or BTEC
· Enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated to the development of young people
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
· Experience in coaching or organizing extracurricular activities is an advantage
