Customs Manager - Belfast
Up to £40,000 | Monday - Friday | 9am -5.30pm
Our client is looking for an experienced Customs Manager to oversee the global import/export operations, ensuring full compliance with international trade laws and regulations. You'll play a key role in managing customs processes, mitigating risks, and driving compliance excellence across the business.

Main Duties:
* Ensure compliance with global customs regulations and trade laws.
* Oversee customs documentation, including classification and valuation of goods.
* Liaise with customs authorities, brokers, and regulatory bodies.
* Develop and maintain trade compliance policies and frameworks.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to import/export activities.
* Manage trade certifications and optimise duty savings.
* Provide training to teams on compliance best practices.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare compliance reports.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in customs and trade compliance.
* Strong knowledge of international customs regulations and trade agreements.
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Previous experience dealing with Import and Export customs.
