Welding Quality Records Lead – Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset. Onsite role (37 hours per week). Role Type: Full time / Permanent. Role ID: SF67350. Lead the Future of Engineering Records in Defence.
At Cavendish, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you will contribute as a Welding Quality Records Lead at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset, as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious nuclear project.
Responsibilities
* Act as the single point of contact for welding records
* Liaise with site and assurance leads to ensure technical accuracy
* Interface with completions teams regarding Construction Test Packs and End of Erection Status Reports
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely record delivery
* Support the delivery of Lifetime Quality Records documentation
Essential experience
* Quality assurance or quality control background in mechanical engineering
* Experience in piping (desirable)
* Strong IT skills and experience with electronic document management systems
* Experience in safety-critical industries such as nuclear or oil and gas
* Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Qualifications
* NDE Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
* ONC/HNC/HND/C&G or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
