Solutions Architect (.NET / Azure / Identity) Healthcare / SaaS Guildford area (2/3 days a week) £80,000 - £95,0000 Were looking for a hands-on Solutions Architect with strong experience across .NET, Azure, and modern identity platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing secure, scalable systems and working closely with engineering, product, and security teams to deliver real-world solutions. Youll play a key role in shaping architecture across both customer-facing and internal platforms, with a particular focus on identity, access, and cloud-native design. Key Responsibilities Own solution architecture for applications built on .NET Core and React Design secure identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and external identity platforms (B2B/B2C, MFA, user flows, custom policies) Enable federated access for third-party integrations using external identity providers Produce high-quality technical artefacts (solution diagrams, sequence diagrams, data models) Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions Contribute to modernisation initiatives and architectural improvements Explore and support the use of AI tooling to enhance developer productivity What Youll Bring Proven experience delivering at least one full lifecycle B2B SaaS product Strong experience with C# and .NET Core Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and modern identity/access patterns Strong experience designing cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Solid understanding of RBAC, identity-driven access, and user management Experience with Microsoft Graph API and app registrations Strong knowledge of software engineering and distributed system design Experience with SQL Server and/or document databases Nice to Have Exposure to AI-enabled developer tooling Experience in regulated industries (e.g. healthcare, finance) Benefits Private medical insurance Dental plan 10% pension contribution Enhanced parental leave *Rates depend on experience and client requirements
