Story Behind the Need:
• Business group: The US Deposit Product team is responsible for designing, enhancing, and managing deposit products such as checking, savings, and money market accounts for commercial customers.
• Project: Replace the current legacy US core banking system with a market-leading out-of-the-box solution, which will not only fulfill the immediate business needs but also provide the bank with a strategic advantage to grow further in the USMCA region.

Typical Day in Role:
• Collaboration via stand-up
• Analysis of the outcome of the solution and discussions across other development streams of work
• Communication could include some mapping of data
• Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Provides input into the development of technical solutions to track & monitor application availability/latency statistics & help design an improved reporting process.
• Maintain, communicate, and coordinate with 3rd party vendors.
• Review and perform any changes, manage audit requests and end-to-end user flows for US Deposit products to management and Business owners.
• Create, maintain and coordinate ongoing items with Business.
• Understand US Deposits, Deposits, Payments, and knowledge on CAD/US Deposits is beneficial.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• Business Process Modeling & Requirements Gathering (10+ years): Proven experience in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements using methodologies such as BPMN (Business Model and Notation), use cases, and user stories.
• Stakeholder Management (3–5 years): Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders, manage expectations, and align solutions with business objectives.
• Data Analysis & SQL (3-5 years): Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in querying databases, identifying data trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Automation Testing Experience:
o Working knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete) to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Domain Knowledge:
o Familiarity with financial services, banking products, or regulatory environments to ensure testing aligns with business and compliance requirements.
• CI/CD and DevOps Exposure:
o Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, along with DevOps practices, to support agile and iterative testing workflow

o Ability to clearly articulate testing outcomes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and convey complex information in a user-friendly manner.
• Analytical Thinking:

o Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to shifting priorities, and embracing new tools or methodologies as needed.

Education & Certificates:
• Post-Secondary Education is required but would be preferred in a related field
