Part-Time Bookkeeper
Bookkeeper - Retail/ Consumer Goods industryPart-time (4 days/ week or 5 days/ week with reduced hours)Permanent Waterloo, LondonHybrid - 1 day working from home
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP)
* Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments.
* Maintain supplier records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Manage payment runs and monitor outstanding payables.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Generate and issue customer invoices in line with trading terms.
* Monitor debtor balances, chase overdue payments, and maintain a clean AR ledger.
* Reconcile customer accounts and support credit control activity.
Multicurrency & Reconciliations
* Process transactions across multiple currencies and maintain accurate FX records.
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across several accounts.
* Assist with month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments.
Profit & Loss (P&L) Support
* Support preparation of monthly P&L reports, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and revenues.
* Provide variance analysis and assist with management reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce environments.
* Strong understanding of AP, AR, and general bookkeeping principles.
* Confident handling multicurrency transactions and reconciliations.
* Experience with Xero accounting system
