Are you an experienced Production Supervisor or Team Leader with a background in manufacturing or regulated environments? We’re supporting a global manufacturing business in Fareham who are looking to recruit a Process Team Leader (PTL) to lead shift performance across key production areas. What’s the role all about? As a Process Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of shift delivery across manufacturing operations, ensuring production plans are achieved while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for driving performance, developing your team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities Lead and coordinate shift delivery across production areas, ensuring targets for Quality, Cost and Delivery are met Plan labour and equipment requirements in line with production schedules Provide shop-floor leadership, including shift briefs, tier meetings and handovers Maintain real-time production status and escalate risks or constraints Work closely with QA, Planning, Engineering and Warehouse teams Ensure all manufacturing activities are carried out in line with GMP, safety and environmental standards Oversee raw material handling and pre-weigh processes to ensure production flow Lead and support root cause investigations, deviations and CAPA activities Drive Right First Time (RFT) performance and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and compliance Support equipment availability, maintenance and new equipment implementation Participate in and support internal and external audits Lead and develop your team, including performance management, coaching and training Promote a proactive health, safety and environmental culture What you’ll need To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: Experience leading a team or shift within a manufacturing or processing environment Strong understanding of GMP and regulated environments Experience supporting audits, investigations and CAPA processes Ability to plan resources and deliver against production schedules Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Hands-on problem-solving and root cause analysis experience Experience coaching and developing team members Desirable Experience within pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food or other regulated industries Knowledge of ISO 22716 and ISO 9001 standards desirable Exposure to continuous improvement or lean methodologies About you You’re a confident and approachable leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, supporting your team and driving performance.
