About the Role
As an SEN tutor, you’ll work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, often outside of the traditional classroom setting. You’ll adapt your teaching approach to meet individual learning styles and needs, helping each student develop confidence, independence, and progress at their own pace.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, personalised lessons in line with EHCPs and individual learning plans
* Use creative, multi-sensory strategies to support diverse learning needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH)
* Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage growth and resilience
* Monitor progress and adapt approaches to meet evolving student needs

What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Knowledge of specific needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD
* Teaching or tutoring background—SEN qualifications are a plus
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to support all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
