Salary: £130 - £170 per day (dependant on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Northampton. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable), fostering a love of Science and encouraging students to reach their full potential.
You will join a supportive and forward-thinking Science department that values collaboration, creativity, and high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Inspire and motivate students to develop curiosity and confidence in Science.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
* Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and enrichment activities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline).
* Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3–KS4; KS5 desirable).
* Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
* Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and teamwork.
