Job Title: Lean Delivery Manager
Role Overview
The Lean Delivery Manager supports the Head of Operational Strategy & Change in scoping opportunities, deploying transformation initiatives, and measuring benefits across core business functions.
This role is responsible for planning and executing end-to-end transformation initiatives within a business unit, delivering sustainable improvements aligned to strategic objectives. Acting as a trusted partner, the Lean Delivery Manager works closely with stakeholders to understand processes, assess performance, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
The role also serves as an ambassador for Lean principles, ensuring they are embedded across the organisation to deliver lasting value for both customers and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the deployment of Lean transformation initiatives, including continuous improvement practices and routines
* Define current and future state processes, including implementation plans and expected value/impact of changes
* Build strong partnerships with Business Unit leaders to understand priorities and integrate improvement strategies
* Apply Lean and problem-solving tools to generate insights, identify solutions, and drive standardisation
* Deliver agreed performance objectives and ensure alignment with initiative charters
* Ensure consistent and successful application of Lean standards across initiatives
* Facilitate training sessions and problem-solving workshops with senior stakeholders and teams
* Coach leaders at all levels on continuous improvement practices, including leadership routines and behaviours
* Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership on progress and outcomes
* Support teams in identifying, prioritising, and realising measurable benefits
* Drive adoption and sustainability of Lean methodologies across value streams and functions

* Proficiency in project and programme management
Qualifications
* Degree preferred
* Lean or Continuous Improvement certification (e.g. Green Belt, Lean Competency System)
* Project or Programme Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum Master, AgilePM)
Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lean practitioner with a proven track record in delivering change
* Experience within Financial Services, with understanding of operational management practices
* Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Lean or continuous improvement initiatives
* Experience as a Lean or Process Improvement leader, ideally within a regulated or complex business environment
