Job Title: Private Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
Location: Leeds or Manchester
Hours: Full time, Hybrid (40% in office)
Salary: £72,702 – £80,780 per annum

Job Description
* Lead or contribute to the architectural design of cloud platform technologies and products across our ecosystem.
* Be hands‑on, building and maintaining our private cloud products and services.
* Conduct technical conversations with stakeholders of varying levels of technical background, including Senior Management and other Subject Matter Experts.
* Collaborate across internal, external, and third‑party teams.
* Drive best‑in‑class approaches to automation and security.
* Provide education and mentorship covering cloud engineering topics to support different teams and drive upskilling.
* Serve as an SME in a particular aspect of infrastructure engineering or product category.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential skills:
* Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in cloud environments.
* Expert knowledge of networking technologies and services (NSX, VXLAN, ACI, BGP).
* Strong troubleshooting skills and support experience with network technologies and tools.
* Strong experience in writing technical design documents.
Desirable skills:
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
* Experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting networks in NSX.
* Good understanding and familiarity with automation tooling: Terraform, Ansible, GitHub.
* Monitoring the automation of network deployment and configuration.
* Good understanding of VXLAN/Geneve technologies.
* Good understanding of VMware virtual infrastructure.
* Experience with Service Design & associated methodologies.
* Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
* Experience with large‑scale data migrations.
