You’ll be paid a salary of between £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending upon experience. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Provide generalist HR support across the site, advising managers and employees on a wide range of topics
* Lead on employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary and grievance processes
* Support the site’s talent agenda - from appraisals and succession planning to development workshops
* Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
* Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to the HR Manager
* Build strong relationships with union reps and promote a positive site culture
* Ensure compliance with employment law and GXO policies, keeping processes up to date
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment, ideally within logistics, manufacturing or similar
* Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies and employee relations
* CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified (or working towards)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
* A proactive, organised approach and the confidence to manage your own workload
* Experience working with unions, payroll or time & attendance systems is a bonus
