The Post
Required for a September start, the Trustees are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced Business Studies Teacher to lead the department as the school grows and introduces vocational subjects into KS4. Business Studies has proven to be a very popular choice with students.
The ability to teach Business Studies BTEC up to KS4 is essential. The ability to teach Business at KS5 is desirable. The role of BTEC Quality Nominee (TLR2c) is also available for the right candidate if interested. A Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £3k p.a. is available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will join a team of highly experienced Humanities teachers at both Barton Manor and Barton Court Grammar School, including a very experienced business studies teacher who is a member of the senior team.
The candidate should be able to deliver excellence in the classroom, providing innovative and inspirational teaching and learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to work with colleagues to develop a vibrant and outstanding department, offering Business qualifications at both KS4 and KS5. The post is suitable for an experienced professional looking to further their expertise or an ECT starting their career who is interested in subject leadership after passing induction.
