The role of Customer Service Administrator is based within our Pet Insurance Team. The role involves pet insurance claim administration, including preparing claim files.

You will need to have excellent customer services skills as you will also be handling telephone calls and emails from policyholders and veterinary practices.

If you have experience in pet insurance claims handling and/or veterinary practice experience this would be an advantage. Please note the role does not involve assessing or approving pet claims.

You should be focused and self-motivated to achieve performance and quality targets while adhering to regulatory and business standards.

The position is an office-based role at our Grantham office and is therefore not suitable for remote or hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing pet insurance claim files for referral to an assessor.
* Handle telephone calls and emails regarding pet insurance claims.
* Communicate professionally and confidently information to customers and veterinary practices.
* Maintain accurate claim file records and customer interactions using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
* Achieve monthly individual performance and quality targets.
* Work collaboratively in team environment.
* Adhere to regulatory and business standards.

Full training is provided. Throughout the probationary period you will be required to meet development objectives to ensure you are making satisfactory progress.

Key skills required

* Customer focused with customer service administration experience.
* Good level of general education including qualifications in English and Maths.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.

* IT literate and experience of data entry using a CRM system.
* Self-motivated to achieve performance targets.
* Professional and confident manner.
* Able to work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive 'can do' attitude.
