As Accounts Manager, you will take ownership of client relationships, ensure high-quality delivery across accounts and taxation work, and contribute to process improvements within the department. This role will suit someone who thrives in a busy practice environment and is keen to continue developing their technical and managerial skills.
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounts and compliance work
Review accounts, tax returns, and supporting documentation prepared by junior team members
Support and mentor staff, contributing to team development and workflow management
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering high-quality advice and guidance
Identify opportunities for service improvements and contribute to the department’s growth
Requirements
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance
Proven experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
Excellent communication and organisational skills
