Zafiro Homes is a luxury residential developer delivering some of the finest homes in the Home Counties. With a reputation for exceptional design, premium finishes, and high-spec construction, we are now seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a three-home development in Marlow.
You'll be working directly alongside an experienced Senior Site Manager and supporting the day-to-day running of the site. This is an ideal role for someone looking to step up into high-end residential and grow with a fast-moving, design-led company.
Role Overview
The Assistant Site Manager will play a key role in ensuring that daily site activities run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You'll be expected to take ownership of specific areas of the build, liaise with subcontractors, assist with documentation, and support in maintaining site standards in line with Zafiro Homes' quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Site Support & Coordination
* Assist the Senior Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site activities.
* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure they are working to programme and quality standards.
* Help manage deliveries, storage, and on-site logistics.
Health & Safety
* Support the enforcement of H&S protocols, including inductions, PPE checks, toolbox talks, and plant inspections.
* Assist with RAMS compliance and ensure welfare facilities are kept clean and functional.
* Help maintain safety signage, fencing, and general housekeeping.
Programme & Reporting
* Monitor short-term lookahead programmes and assist in keeping works on track.
* Support updates to the electronic site diary with labour records, delivery notes, and key site events.
* Help document completed works through site photos and quality checks.
Subcontractor Liaison
* Confirm attendance of trades and ensure all are briefed on daily tasks.
* Assist in identifying and resolving issues relating to sequencing, delays, or workmanship.
* Support weekly subcontractor meetings and site walkarounds.
Quality Control & Site Organisation
* Carry out snag checks and report any quality issues to the Senior Site Manager.
* Ensure materials are stored safely and the site remains clean, secure, and well-managed.
* Record and organise key documentation on the server.
Neighbour & Client Relations
* Help manage communication with local residents where required.
* Escalate any complaints, incidents, or sensitive issues to the Senior Site Manager.
Professional Development
* Learn from the Senior Site Manager and take increasing ownership of areas of the build.
* Be a reliable and proactive part of the team, contributing to the success of each project.
What We're Looking For
* 1–3 years' experience on construction sites, ideally with exposure to high-end residential.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
* A genuine interest in growing within a luxury housebuilding environment.
* Strong understanding of H&S and site compliance.
* Full UK driving licence and own transport.
* CSCS card required. SSSTS or SMSTS preferred but not essential.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
