Account Manager - Learning

About you:
As part of the Learning team you will be working with customers who have one, or more Access Learning solutions – that may be our LMS, Career Development or Content solutions. We are an exciting time in our division we a new look LMS being launched later this year and would love to be part of the next phase of our growth and development. Your role will be to engage and work with customers to understand their learning objectives and how these fit in with their wider business goals. You may be the main AM on the account or you may be part of a wider team working key strategic accounts. Our team also works closely with Customer Success Managers who have specific technical product knowledge this allows you to focus on building and maintaining relationships. In addition, you will be responsible for all commercial matters for your accounts, this could include contract negotiations or re-contracting when additional solutions are purchased.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Develop effective relationships with key account personnel in the account to maximise upsell and cross sell business sales opportunities.
2. Have a sound knowledge of our Learning Products & Services, to be able to discuss and demonstrate the value proposition for our offering and how it aligns to the needs of the customer.
3. Hit and exceed pre-determined sales targets, in line with company growth targets.
4. Develop and implement a contact strategy – quarterly review meetings for example
5. Host meetings at all levels with clients
6. Look to retain customers as part of the Access GRR strategy – where customer is first
7. You may be required to attend exhibitions, present sales ideas or attend meetings in support of other salespeople which may include nights away from home
8. To work in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
* GCSE A-C in Maths and English.
* Previous experience in a sales role.
* Learning Sector specific sales experience.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated
* Able to prioritise a demanding workload.
* Excellent communication skills, telephone, email and written.
* Attention to detail.
* Act with integrity, loyalty and honesty.
* Develop positive relationships, co-operation with, and support for colleagues and clients.
* Demonstrate a positive approach.
