Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
* Greet guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
* Ensure all drinks are served safely, adhering to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
* Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle transactions with professionalism
* Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving
* Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, mixers, and other essentials
Experience
* Previous experience working in a hospitality environment, particularly as a bartender with cocktail knowledge, is advantageous
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
* Strong serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy shifts
* Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
