NHS Jobs is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Sheffield. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our pharmacy services. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary range from £22,383.00 to £24,336.00 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the dispensing of prescriptions and ensure accuracy in medication preparation.
Maintain an organized and efficient pharmacy environment.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure compliance with regulations and protocols.
Manage inventory and assist in stock control.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
