Overview
We offer bespoke training and opportunities to develop and be involved in team service development projects. The Trust adopts a Green CAAS and a Quality Improvement approach, involving all levels of staff in development projects. It provides continuous professional development, in-service training and a robust clinical and peer supervision framework, supported by a Well Being working group.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for a designated caseload, undertaking therapy programmes as identified within their role.
* Have excellent time‑management and communication skills to prioritise and balance clinical, patient related and service demands.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
* Adopt an MDT approach in the management of the patient.
* Actively manage support workforce waiting list.
* Contribute to student education and newly registered staff.
* Basic IT skills to manage own admin requirements and support Team Administrators as required.
* Develop links with local voluntary organisations to complement our intervention.
Additional Responsibilities
The role is varied and requires the ability to manage and prioritise your own caseload under the guidance of registered practitioners. You will support the rehabilitation of patients working directly with a range of professions, provide high quality support for therapists and assist with care planning. The work may be undertaken at patients’ homes, clinics or other community settings, requiring travel across the Trust footprint by car or other means of mobility. The role may involve working with others or independently, and you will also support Team Administrators in processing referrals. We focus strongly on staff well‑being, encouraging each member to bring their best to work each day.
