Days and Hours of Work: 42 hours per week / Monday-Friday & 2 Saturdays per month

Reports To: Branch Manager

Job Purpose: To always deliver the highest levels of customer service and foster a culture of excellence within the branch.

Key Accountabilities:

* Identify and pick stock items for customers in a timely manner.
* Load and deliver products professionally and promptly.
* Maintain excellent relationships with customers.
* Keep accurate records of sales and deliveries.
* Control stock levels and inform the manager when stock is needed.
* Maintain the branch vehicle in good condition by checking and reporting concerns when required.
* Ensure banking is completed daily, with all cash deposited or secured at close of business in accordance with company procedures.
* Delegate responsibilities appropriately, with accountability and follow-up.
* Provide cover in the absence of the Branch Manager.
* Support the Branch Manager in ensuring staff meet or exceed activity standards and that the branch is adequately staffed at all times.
* Support the sales and marketing plans of the business.
* Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
* Liaise and cooperate with colleagues within the company, group, and wider Epwin community.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical codes.
* Assist in training and performance reviews, supporting team development.
* Contribute to maintaining high standards and good housekeeping within the branch.
* Carry out activities following safe systems of work and using personal safety devices as appropriate.

Key Experiences and Skills Required:

* Experience working in a trade environment.
* Experience in customer service.
* Demonstrate high levels of customer service.
* Experience handling cash.
* Full driving license.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

* Good local knowledge and familiarity with the local road system.
* Proficiency with PC applications.
* Ability to listen and follow instructions.
* Knowledge of the construction industry (desirable).
* Ability to work well within a close team environment.
* Experience managing a team.
